The week after GreenTech Amsterdam, KUBO Group joined the Leafy Hydroponics Summit. This event brings together lettuce growers and horticulture professionals from around the world to share knowledge, practical experience and insights into the future of leafy cultivation.
For KUBO, it was a valuable opportunity to connect with a focused international audience and share our expertise in greenhouse projects and cultivation systems for leafy crops.
On the first day of the summit, David Riseborough presented on behalf of KUBO. His session focused on how to successfully start a lettuce project, including the choices and steps that are important from the very beginning.
From project planning and technical requirements to long-term crop performance, a successful lettuce project starts with a strong foundation.
Jelmer Huizing presented on behalf of HAWE Cultivation Systems and shared more about the AIR Gutter. Following its launch at GreenTech Amsterdam, the Leafy Hydroponics Summit offered a relevant setting to explain the system in more detail to growers and specialists active in leafy cultivation.
The session led to valuable questions and conversations about cultivation systems, efficiency and practical application.
On the second day, participants joined a field visit programme with stops at BASF, Priva and Beekenkamp. KUBO was proud to be part of this programme and to welcome the group.
The visit gave participants the opportunity to see our work up close, ask questions and continue the conversation around the practical side of greenhouse horticulture and leafy crop production.
We look back on the Leafy Hydroponics Summit as a valuable event with a clear focus, strong international attendance and relevant conversations about the future of leafy cultivation.
