KUBO has announced its intention to outsource the steel production activities of KUBO Productie B.V.

With this move, KUBO is strengthening its focus on the activities in which it stands out internationally: innovation, engineering, digitization, and the realization of high-tech greenhouse horticulture projects.

The international market for greenhouse horticulture projects is changing rapidly. At the same time, differences in global production costs and market conditions continue to widen. KUBO has therefore decided to future-proof its organization and supply chain and to concentrate on those activities through which it creates the most value for customers worldwide.

“The world is changing, and we are changing with it,” says CEO Wouter Kuiper. “KUBO has always looked ahead and made choices that strengthen our position in the long term. By reorganizing production, we’re increasing our effectiveness, flexibility, and focus on innovation. In doing so, we’re continuing to build a strong and future-proof company.”

Nothing will change for customers, partners, or ongoing projects. KUBO remains fully committed to investing in technology, engineering, project execution, and the development of sustainable solutions for tomorrow’s food supply.

The proposed change will affect a number of valued colleagues. KUBO is handling this process with the utmost care and expresses its sincere appreciation for the dedication, commitment, and craftsmanship with which they have contributed to the company’s development.

With this step, KUBO reaffirms its ambition to continue playing a leading role in the international greenhouse horticulture sector in the future.
